Collaborative Efforts to Fuse the Racial Divide

We've faced numerous issues this past year, but witnessing police brutality towards Black-Americans on national television and social media- and the protests that followed - have demanded our immediate attention and action. The struggle of Black-Americans is not new, but the time has come to respond to the deeply embedded bias that resides within ourselves and America, once and for all.

In order to build our teams for the new age of inclusion, we all have to learn how to facilitate meaningful and respectful discussions. We also need to learn tips on how to accommodate difficult, but necessary, conversations regarding racism in the workplace.

As we celebrate Black History Month, join us for this February First Friday Breakfast for a great presentation on diversity an inclusion, while you build strong connections with other Chamber members.

Key focus: Identifying bias, teaching tolerance, and learning how to become an ally for Black-Americans.
