Resurge Your Business Like You MEAN Business: Session 3: Financial Roadmap

RESURGE Your Business (Like You MEAN Business) 7 part Series - Register Now

Overview: The workshop series below is designed to help small business owners focus on the KEY business areas that will allow them to RESURGE and bring back the VIGOR and VITALITY they likely started with from the very beginning. Each workshop in the series will help them move forward in creating (or recreating) a thriving, more profitable business, with a predictable and sustainable income stream so they can get back to enjoying time with the people they love, doing the things they love, and grow BEYOND their business.

What I’ve found is that most small business owners are challenged by one or more of the following:

1. A lack of clear direction and consistent plan of action
2. Finding and keeping good people on their team, even as a sole proprietor
3. Maintaining a consistent stream of high quality leads or prospects
4. Owning their confidence, desire and motivation
5. Feeling like they're going it alone and longing for collaboration and camaraderie

This specifically designed series starts by acknowledging that small business owners have an opportunity now more than ever to take a step back and look at the big-picture which may have changed or evolved over the past year. Whether they're a new startup business or a seasoned business owner, working ON the business can be overwhelming. Through this series, I'll help them break it down into tangible and approachable steps with each workshop to ensure they get the most from their time and effort to affect massive change in their business and mindset for the long term success they desire.

Winning the small business game requires intelligence, clarity, resourcefulness, consistent action, constant adjustment and a lot of help. You can’t do it alone and don’t need to.

Reset:

The workshop series begins by teaching some basic principles around emotional intelligence and energy leadership which will help participants RESET and begin with a more confident and diligent approach to their business. It's the foundation to long-term success by shining a light on how we choose to show up on a daily basis, as well as how we respond to stress.

Rethink:

In order to develop new and innovative tactics, sometimes we need to RETHINK or lay the foundation of the business. This starts with assessing gaps and identifying strengths in 8 key areas of their business. Once this is more clear, we can move into creating their Strategic Direction with a 10-year vision, 3 year plan and 1 year goals for their business. In addition, participants will work on the second most important aspect of their business foundation, their financials. By connecting financial strategy to strategic direction, we will ensure they have the alignment needed to look closely at how their business can go beyond surviving into a thriving model of success.

Retool:

In this series, participants can take their work from the Rethink segments and consider ways to RETOOL their Brand voice. This process involves getting clear on their target (or new target) audience, understanding their “Why” as well as key understandings on their powerful messaging that differentiates them from their competitors. They will use a guided framework to put their thoughts together and ultimately create their brand voice and client experience. This step in the process will then give them a more clear understanding of the people and work force needed to achieve their strategic direction and move into (re)designing their functional charts and outline of roles/responsibilities. By the end of this series they will be able to see how they can move away from being overwhelmed and overworked to leverage the right people in the right places for their business.

Restore:

The final group of workshops will help RESTORE enthusiasm and motivation for running the business like they mean business by putting focus on the combination of delivery, sales and marketing. Activities will include the development of processes, pipelines and procedures for each of these areas with an understanding of how they are uniquely interdependent on each other. Participants will develop the skills to better identify, apply and measure these tactics to feel more informed and confident in ebb and flow of their business. By focusing on marketing last, participants will learn how to use this as a powerful tool in their toolbox versus a reactive response to restoring their business.
